Mid-May sees a strong Norwegian delegation of ten bands heading for Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival - one of Europe’s main showcasing arenas.
No less than 10 Norwegian acts are scheduled to perform at this year’s The Great Escape, one of Europe’s leading showcasing festivals and music industry events which features acts from all over the world. The Great Escape takes place in Brighton from 14 to 16th of May. The Great Escape festival showcases more than 300 local and international new artists over three days in Brighton, and the strong Norwegian delegation of bands set to play the festival includes such acts as Thomas Dybdahl, I Was A King, Tommy Tokyo & Starving For My Gravy, The New Wine, Datarock, Harry’s Gym, The Alexandria Quartet, Casiokids, Shining and Hanne Hukkelberg.
Following 2008’s Norwegian extravaganza at the festival, this year’s edition will once again give both seasoned fans and new listeners the opportunity to experience Norway’s blossoming music scene live at the vibrant Brighton festival and music industry expo.
