INTRO Composers at Ultima

The two young Norwegian composers Ørjan Matre and Therese Birkelund Ulvo obtain special attention at Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival, a.o. with two world premieres for the opening of the Arne Nordheim Centre in Oslo.

MIC Norway’s INTRO-Composer programme features two young talents that are supported over a three-year time-frame, enabling the composers to establish themselves on the domestic as well as international scene through commissioned works, networking and informational initiatives.

The present INTRO composers are Therese Birkelund Ulvo and Ørjan Matre. At this year’s Ultima Festival they will obtain special focus at four concerts:
