Annie Announces US DJ Tour
In support of the US release of her acclaimed debut album ‘Anniemal’, Bergen-based DJ, producer and pop-icon Annie announces a string of US DJ gigs.
Annie has announced a short set of U.S. DJ gigs in New York, Chicago, and California in support of the upcoming release of her acclaimed debut album ‘Anniemal’.
The upcoming tour, dubbed "Anniemix", also features Finnish ‘Anniemal’ co-producer Timo Kaukolampi. They'll both be spinning vinyl, and, according to a Pitchforkmedia.com report “Annie will rock the mic”.
Venues include Chicago's Sonotheque, New York's Hiro Ballroom, and Cinespace in Los Angeles.
Prior to Annie’s US DJ appearances she is set to do some DJ stops in London, followed by a few dates where she and her backing band will open for Saint Etienne in the UK.

In other Annie news, in an interview with About.com, she revealed that the Rapture have remixed "Me Plus One", but no details on the release of that track are available. "The Rapture did the remix for 'Me Plus One' and I think that's really, really good. The Rapture is one of my favorite bands so I was really pleased that they did a remix."
