MIC’s Listen to Norway profile series continues with Tre Vise Menn’s "i ein tynne tråd".
This album holds promise of a warmer season. The initial associations are those of summer, sun and general happiness. This is light-hearted classical pop-rock sung in charming, west-Norwegian, Haugesund-dialect. “…i ein tynne tråd” is far from revolutionary, but as long as it makes you feel good then what more can you ask for? The lyrics deal with life’s eternal questions, and true to the tradition of classic pop-albums, love is the central topic here. Tre Vise Menn come up with few answers, but ask a lot of charming questions on this album.
