With international album sales exceeding 200 000, two highly successful videos, massive airplay and prestigious remix-work, production partners Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland can look back at a very successful year-and-a-half. Since the release of their acclaimed Melody A.M. album last year, things have definitely gone their way and the two seem set on maintaining their momentum.

The latest in a string of achievements was this week’s nomination for Muzik Magazine Dance Awards for Best Album of the year. With strong, star-studded competition from among others Basement Jaxx’ Rooty album, the Norwegian duo took home the awards.

The Tromsø duo is also nominated in no less than four categories at the MTV Europe Video Music Awards. November 14 will see if Röyksopp manages to follow up on this week’s success.
